Hello! Allow me to introduce myself – I’m Erica, the founder and principal designer of Field Supply.

Like so many worthwhile endeavors in life, my path to this work has been anything but direct.

I left college in San Diego, CA with plans to become a licensed counselor but took a quick detour with a term creating equitable urban spaces with Americorps. This work opened my eyes to the impact planning and design can have on our public spaces and shared experiences. I was hooked.

My love of plants, people and public spaces led to after-work horticultural courses and ultimately a Masters’ degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley.

After grad school I moved to Denver and had the honor of working at a few landscape architecture and urban planning firms - designing everything from public parks, high-end hospitality and commercial areas to small urban nooks and residential spaces.

While everything looked right on paper and I was finally doing the type of design work I had set my sights on so many years before…

I found myself smack in the middle of a challenging time in my personal life and in a major creative rut. Something had to change.

Enter, flowers.

I realized that the mix of my life experiences has given me a unique perspective and skill set to create floral art and connect with people and plants in a new way. After a year of soul-searching and planning I took the leap and Field Supply was born.

My surroundings have a big impact on my mood, my motivation, and my creativity.

I am a firm believer that being immersed in a beautiful space has the power to make people feel happy, calm, safe, valued, and most of all, at home.

To me, bringing the world floral art translates directly to real joy and well-being. I think about the impact flowers can have on the spaces they occupy and pour my heart into each arrangement I create.

Field Supply is passionate about its values.

Connection

Connection is paramount to my work. I love getting to know my clients because it inspires me to create flowers that tell your unique stories and because I want Field Supply to be a space that invites flower lovers of all walks of life to be welcome, valued and celebrated.

Environmental Responsibility

When unchecked, the floral industry can leave a heavy footprint behind. This is one of the reasons why I seek to work with local farms and makers whenever possible, and make concerted efforts to select compostable and reusable floral mechanics and materials. The earth gives us so much natural beauty, and it is my goal to give back by supporting my local community, reducing my environmental impact, and partnering with organizations who address environmental and social causes I care deeply about.

Authenticity

I believe authenticity allows walls of all forms to come down and gives us all the space and freedom to show up as ourselves. There’s so much more to learn from and appreciate about each other when we come as we are. The imperfect and unexpected bits are what makes life - and especially art and design - interesting!

Meet Lucy the Flower Camper!

Lucy is a vintage 1973 Sprite Alpine caravan that has been lovingly restored and renovated and now operates as Field Supply’s roaming floral studio.

You will find her out and about at local Farmers’ Markets, poppin’ up outside some favorite local businesses around town, and available to rent for private events and workshops.
